Short rant

This letter of mine was printed in today's Citizen. I was going to blame the slightly mangled grammar on their editing, but...yeah let's do that.

Almost every day in this newspaper we read letter-writers and columnists pointing to our warm winter and calling it a "wake-up call" about climate change and that we need to drop everything and do whatever it is they think will set things right and stop unusual weather from ever happening again.

Using the same laughably simplistic reasoning, the next "normal" winter we have, will that be a "reality check" on this global-warming hype, and will we read about the same people eating crow? Anyone care to take a bet on that?
